These are higher temperature pads than the Mazda stock pad for the 1989-1993 Miata. If you drive assertively in the mountains, or drive Auto-X it is relatively easy to exceed the maximum service temperature of the Mazda factory brake pad. What happens then is that some of the adhesive from your pad melts onto the disk and the brake will vibrate a bit. Many people think that the disk has warped. It hasn't. You have exceeded the maximum service temperature of the pad. Greenstuff has good 'bite' from cold, and graps more as it warms up. So it is fine for assertive street driving and light track use. The pad does generate a moderate amount of dust, and life is a bit shorter than for a standard pad. However it does have great pedal 'feel' and is easy to modulate when hot. I am on my second or third set.
