I have worked in management in a manufacturing facility for years but I always dress very business professional (dress pants/shirt). I have always had difficulty finding safety-toe shoes that coordinate well with my attire. I've tried steel-toe wingtips from both Rockport and Redwing Shoes. Both were okay, but I found that an otherwise properly tailored pant did not lay well on these shoes--the pant leg would break excessively making it look like they were way too long. Additionally, the perforations in the wing tip are magnets for dust and dirt and are nearly impossible to keep clean in a factory environment.I have had my eye on these Blundstones for a while now and was waiting for my last pair of wingtips to wear out so I could buy them. I am very pleased with my purchase. First of all, the quality of construction and materials is top notch. Second, you can hardly tell they are steel-toe shoes at all! With most shoes, they have a noticeably taller and/or wider toe; not these! I used to switch to regular soft-toe dress shoes when going out for lunch or after work for dinner/drinks with friends, but with these I am perfectly fine wearing these out. Blundstone nailed it! My only concern at first was that they fit a little bit narrow and it doesn't appear they are available in varying widths. After wearing them for a week; however, they are not bothering me in the least.I really really like these shoes. They fit as expected and they look great. No one can tell that they are safety shoes. My only complaint about these shoes are the insoles; for such a pricey shoe (and they're worth it) they have the worst insoles that I have every experienced. They are so cheap and provide little to no comfort....I immediately took them out and installed some high quality insoles which made all the difference in the world. If you must wear safety shoes and still have the need to look like a executive or senior level person then these shoes will fit the bill if you're tired of the wing tip design safety shoe or the loafer type. I would recommend these shoes to anyone but my feedback to Blundstone is to either lower the price or get some better insoles because something that simple could really tarnish a good reputation and a overall good product.I am a field tech and just changed jobs, I decided to step up from the khakis and polo to slacks and a button down and needed a nice pair of shoes. I have large feet and most high end steel toes are comfortable, but look like clown shoes because of the steel cup. These shoes are not like that, they look very nice with a European taper to the toe. I have worn 12D forever, and was a little skeptical being these are AU sized 11, but they fit perfect.Break in was short and easy and these shoes are comfortable for every day use. I also chose these because of the natural leather so I can put a military shine. They come with a sample of Nikwax to protect the leather from water, great for those winter months.About the only thing that would make these better would be a bit longer waxed laces, but I will get some of those myself.Yes. They really are.First, they are very comfortable. I have very wide feet and new shoes tend to really hurt until they are broken in. Not with the Blundstones. I was wearing them for a full day on the first day and they felt fine. Maybe the AUS system of foot measurement for wide feet is better. Maybe the foot lasts at Blundstone are better. I don't really care. My feet thank whatever reason.Next, they are quite nice looking. This is a steel-toed shoe and it works perfectly in a professional setting. They go great with jeans as well. I am thinking of getting another pair in brown as well. They are nicely constructed. I have not had any issues with the seams or sole. In fact, the sole looks practically new after several months of wear. I don't see needing to replace them for a few years.I am now a Blundstone fan and will put these first on my list when I need a new shoe. The Blundstone 780 steel-toed Blucher is a perfect shoe to wear with business casual dress or even a suit. It allows me to keep a very professional appearance while giving plant tours to customers and visitors. The shoe fits as expected. It is a little wider than a medium width shoe which works great for me. The Voucher is very comfortable; however, I have only wore them in two to three hour stretches so I cannot speak to how comfortable they will be beyond that. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dress safety shoe.Shoe runs small. Very stiff throughout entire shoe. After 3.5 years of wearing 15 days per month, still no break in. Shoe is so rugged and strong it shows zero signs of wear and no tear. Shoe runs small so I can't install an insole pad or arch supports to make comfortable. Sole does not flex and is as stiff as a board, so shoe is uncomfortable. Removing shoes at end of day is like a dream. This will be the second pair of these shoes that I have purchased within the last two years. My first pair I purchased in 2012 and a year later they still look great. The quality is excellent, all stitching has held up well, quality soles and construction. They really don't feel clunky like some steel toed shoes do. They hug your feet.Normally I don't go over my approved expense reimbursement amount for my work shoes, but these are well worth it. I am looking forward to my second pair. Many co-workers are quite surprised when they find out that they are steel toed shoes. They are very stylish, I wear them out at night too. Safety first! ;)These are wonderful shoes, comfortable and very high quality. They are the sharpest dress steel toes you can get. Go well with everything from dress slacks to nicer jeans. They are a bit heavy but that is as expected for this style of shoe where safety is 1st but they didn't let style go out the window. Very much worth the investment, if you are on your feet frequently and require a dress style wardrobe while keeping shop or field safety in mind these are the way to go for sure.
