I'll start by saying that I am not an Al Stewart expert. I just wanted an inexpensive, hard copy of "24 Carrots." And this was the cheapest way to go for $22, and you get the other four albums thrown in. The sound quality is good but most importantly there are some absolutely stellar deep cuts that would never be played on the radio such as, "Paint by Numbers," Red Toupee, and "Strange Girl." Stewart is much more than "Year of the Cat" and this is an inexpensive way to get to know him a little better. The one drawback is there are no liner notes. The package is in the mini sleeves.
